Ewww...but I have one that beats it.

A number of years ago I upgraded to an FIE mask and donated my old one to teh club, where it instantly became the best mask in the place.

A week or so later, it gets taken out for a fencing party out in the country...the kid wearing it trips and falls face first...

into a fresh pile of horse crap!

He stands up, doo-doo stuck to the grill right in front of his mouth, screaming like a banshee!

"Oh great," I say when told of it..."that had to happen to the best mask?"

Well, that's silly. Did he not realize what the alternative would have been had he NOT had the mask on?

Our university club did an outdoor demo today. I was unable to attend, but I sent my mask to use as a bowl for the candy we were handing out to passersby.

Well yeah.....but it was a pre-teen kid....he probably didn't realize that by inhaling to let out a good scream, he was probably exposing himself to more of the doo!!

The best non-fencing use for a mask I've seen was a few years ago when forumite R. Exnicios posted a photo of his baby -- asleep in an LP mask. Cute.

I've seen a mask used as the receptacle for vomit after a night out. I don't know if that classes as a "best use" though.
