Saber Glove If a lame cuff were sewn onto a foil/epee glove would it be legal? -

Array I can't think of a reason why not, so long as it had the necessary overlap on the inside of the glove... "Sir, didn't I parry"
"You didn't take advantage of his blade enough, so no."
(I guess i should have romanced it a bit more..." -

Array If you do it right, I don't see why not. They come that way, afterall. Often in error. Never in doubt. -

Array You have to make sure that the material that you are sewing on will not catch a blade. If the armorer thinks it will s/he has the right to fail it due to safety. Why go through that trouble and just buy an over-glove cuff? Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction.

Array Well, if you have a bunch of lame`s with dead spots, yeah, you could do that. But as was stated before, you have to make sure that the lame` material goes under the edge of the cuff. -

Array That's basically how the Armor Two-S will be....the same Armor 2 with the addition of lame for the target area.....
Now if only my maker would get the proto correct... -
I want to see the machine you use to do this with.
I have to repair gloves all the time and some repairs like this one require a certain type of sewing machine.
Now, if you take out a needle and thread, make a night of it.

I was planing on taking it to a tailor but you can always use a regular machine with a denim needle and just go slowly Similar Threads -
