    Viktoria Fencing Shoe?

Anyone have anything to say about them? I'm thinking of maybe getting the "New Olympic" shoes.

I don't actually need new shoes, but my current shoes seem a bit clunkerish... (Leon Paul Blades!)

Great shoe. Pretty sure I wrote a review for them for FNet before my test pair was stolen. They bend in an odd place and may cause calluses right behind where the big toe meets the foot when they're new and not broken in but that'll vary by fencer and won't last too terribly long.
I now dangle to the left....my tassle. Get your minds out of the gutter.

I used a pair for ~1 year back in 2007-8. A little stiff, nice shoes but not worth the steep price, IMHO. The Stabils are more shoe for less money. One nice thing about the Viktorias was that they didn't seem to stretch out as much laterally as the D'Artagnan II's I had been using previously.

As I have just ordered four pair of the Nike shoe, who cares about the Viktorias?

i agree. where the hell do you get the nikes?!??! I WANT ONE!

btw i contacted viktoria and they said the viktoria new olympic shoes are 62 euros including "expedition" (s&h) would be "62,00" euros. i just love the grammar of those europeans. i searched up about how much 62 euros would be and its around $90. not too bad at all.

The other thing is, the "new olympic" shoes are different than the "competition" shoes by Viktoria. All i see around on google are the "competition" shoe reviews.

I wonder how much is the shipping from Italy to US?

Their website talks about everything within Italy.
I doubt that "expedition" to US is included in 62 euros...

I sent them an email and they said 62 euros INCLUDING "expedition". The website says they're 50 euros not including expedition.
