    School break fencing camps

Both my kids are now fencing sabre, one competitively and one heading in that direction. I would love to find a school break fencing camp/clinic for them - either during the Christmas break or one of the spring breaks. It doesn't matter where it is as I was thinking of planning a mini-vacation around it. But I don't see many listed on Ask Fred. Does anyone know of any planned clinics? Are there even such things over school breaks?
    Thanks in advance!

For those looking for foil and epée there is Northwest Fencing :

    www.nwfencing.org

For sabre you might check Fencing Academy of South Jersey:

I am sure FASJ's camp is good, but combining a trip there with a vacation might not be optimal ;-) You might want to try the one at FC or MFC

Yes, South Jersey is dull compared to Manhattan.

But there are several good things about the FASJ camp. One of the best things is that it's very casual and flexible. If you decide to take a morning off, you could go into Philly and come back to FASJ by 2pm for the afternoon session. The camp day ends officially at 6pm, but kids often fence until 7pm, so you'd still get in a full day of bouting.

Also, there are movie theaters nearby, a couple of good malls for Christmas sales-shopping, some good reasonably-priced restaurants, etc.
