The NBA has posted a full (public!) video rulebook describing all the kinds of calls seen in pro basketball.
Can you imagine the giant leap fencing refereeing would take if an equivalent was posted by the FIE?

For ROW problems, which are arguably the biggest adjudication problems fencing faces, there's not really a vocabulary for classifying the different kinds of difficult calls.

However, if someone were to go to www.youtube.com/FIEvideo and spend a lot of time enumerating the different kinds of difficult calls and then making one of Andrew's compilation videos out of it, you'd probably come out with something equivalently good. The calls would be by definition correct. Someone really should do that for each weapon.

They added some more video, by the way, from Antalya. There's now a pretty excessive amount of men's epee on that channel.
