It's Omar. I am finally here. Just throwing a shout out to everyone. Feel free to say hello.
For those who don't know me, I am a pediatrician in Seattle. If you go to NACs, you have probably seen me. I have been fencing for 16 years. Mostly foil. I fenced in college at PSU, but since then have stopped competing and mostly been working Bout Committee and refereeing at NACs for the past 10 years.
My interests: Bowties, referee development, pediatric critical care medicine, Continuous Process Improvement and its application to how we run NACs, fencing.
If you don't know me, say hello sometime all the same.
Is there a button on here to take AWAY reputation?
Reputation used to be positive or negative. Now the moderators still have that option but no one else does.
Of course until you have 50 posts the magnitude of your reputation (*cough* sorry, "cool points" *cough*) influencing ability is zero. Beyond that point it's a factor of how long you've been a member, number of posts, and your reputation.

You as well, my friend, you as well. And good to see you in DM, too! Hopefully both of you will be in Pittsburgh, no?
