Array Yeah, Birmingham Fencing club is about it. AL totally imploded and stopped existing as a division (was re-formed, obviously) not too long ago, IIRC, so I'm not surprised to see things in such sparse shape there. -

What year did it stop being a division? -
1997 Alabama Division was established to the USFA. It has never expired. Like most divisions, the Alabama division has not been immune to adjustments.
It's not going away! -
I stand to be corrected; Alabama Division was charted to the AFLA, the charter took effect September 1, 1970. 1981: AFLA became the United States Fencing Association in 1981. : In 1997 Birmingham Fencing Club was established to the USFA.
Sorry! -

It's not going away! Ahahahaha... "adjustments" -
It appears, even USFA is not immune to adjustments! -
The Alabama Division is doing well since 2008. A Junior World Champion was even produced from one of the best clubs in the division.
And one of the coaches in the division was was chosen as the U.S. Senior Women’s Foil Squad Coach for Turin, Italy.
