Harrisburg Division 3 weapon referee clinic Nov 22, 2009

http://askfred.net/Clinics/moreInfo.php?clinic_id=9892

Harrisburg Division invites you to a 3-weapon referee clinic taught by Bradley Baker.

Class 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a working lunch.
Test: 5:30 to 6:30

The clinic will be held Sunday, November 22, starting at 9:30am and is expected to continue until approximately 5:30pm. Written tests will be available immediately following the clinic for those who desire to take it. If you plan to sit the exam, please make sure that you have adequately prepared by going through the Study Guide:
http://fencingofficials.org/document...tion_10-14.pdf

Attending an official FOC-sanctioned clinic is a prerequisite for attempting the written exam. Once a passing score (90%) has been achieved on the written exam (both the general section and one or more weapon-specific sections) a referee receives a rating of "P" in each weapon passed. Further ratings improvements (1-10) can be obtained at a later date by being evaluated in a practical setting at tournaments.

The cost of the clinic is $50. There is a $10 refundable fee for attempting one or more sections of the written test. If a candidate passes all sections attempted then the $10 testing fee is returned.

There will be a working lunch during the clinic. Please feel free to bring food. Additionally orders will be taken at the site of the clinic for delivery.

Bradley Baker is an active FIE-rated referee in all three weapons. He is currently serving as the Secretary of US Fencing and coaches the fencing team at Temple University.
