As was promised the FIE has finally updated their official list of Visor Masks. Our Absolute Visor Masks have been included in the list. Additionally you can see that our Retro Fit Conductive bibs have been included in this list. You can see for yourself with the attached PDF that was e-mailed to us this morning.
I can't look at the list as I can't sign on and it hasn't made it onto the FIE web site, but the 'Retro-fit bib is interesting. Considering what the FIE put out (enclosed) whose last paragraph says, "However, this solution is not applicable to FIE foil competitions where only FIE approved masks mentioned in the list, with a conductive bib sew and produced by a manufacturer, are allowed."
I also saw Dan, just before he was off to the Geezer Worlds and then to the Senior Worlds to enforce the rules and he said all of these retro-bibs advertised were illegal.
I wonder if a certain person with the initials Dos Santos did some approvals without consultation with anyone else? If Dan doesn't have this new list is it published?

That said, I've been told that this approval from SEMI still requires some form of ratification from the FIE Congress. I don't know enough of the details about how such policy decisions and changes are implemented internationally to comment.
It is unfair to say that Dos Santos "did some approvals without consultation". This was clearly an action taken by the full SEMI commission.
