Custom Question. Ordering from Leon Paul USA to canada

Hey guys, i recently placed an order in canada from leon paul USA worth US$ 460. I wanted to know if anyone has any idea how much custom will i be charged and what is the courier service that leon paul uses (ie. UPS or Canada Post something). And can anyone tell from experience how much time can it take to get it delivered.I placed my order last night and live in vancouver?

I paid $33 yesterday in the US for a $530 order (the first time I've been charged and my third order this year). LP ships out with Parcel Force. For the US that transfers to USPS. I believe Canada uses Parcel Force. Details will be given when they dispatch.

The Americans are trying to be helpful, but our countries are different.

It will come via Canada Post from LP in the UK. I agree with Glowstix, I don't think I've ever been charged customs or PST & GST either. If they do charge, you'll be charged $5 for customs handling plus 7% PST & 5% GST... so this is easy to figure out & the cheapest. On your credit card you will be charged whatever their exchange rate is from the Euro to CDN $.

When ordering items outside of the country try and see if they'll ship by mail. You'll go broke paying what the courier companies think is fair brokerage. If you have to have it sent via courier, clear it yourself through customs. That involves going down to the south terminal of the Vancouver Airport, getting the paperwork from the courier, going a few blocks over to the customs office, filling out the paperwork (waiting to have it processed) then returning to the courier to have them release your shipment. A few hours will save you about $50-60.
