It makes it more difficult to read, which is why we have things like rules of grammar, punctuation and capitalization in the first place.
Also, it's just a basic respect thing, IMO.
You'll notice that most people in THIS part of the ""cyberworld" are capitalizing and punctuating, so I'd say that's the norm here... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you!
