How long to receive the USFA mebership card and key FOB?

I sent my membership application and payment in on Aug 1. I can see that they have me listed in their current membership listings at usfencing.org. I have a competition coming up in mid October so I wanted to have the card on me (although I'm fencing at my home club and they know I'm a member).

How long does it normally take to get your ID card? Thanks in advance!

Seems like I got mine a couple weeks or less after initial (re)enrollment. When I sent an email requesting a division change, I received the new stuff in less than a week.

Regardless, tourney folk can look up your name on the usfa website to verify enrollment. Wouldn't hurt to print that page, but I doubt it'd be a problem at the tourney.

Oh. btw. Good luck in the tournament! :-)

Often in error. Never in doubt.

I sent in my application and payment (via snail mail) on 8/17 and got my card last week. I think my card showed up 2-3 weeks after my name showed up on the website.

As long as you have the membership number, I wouldn't be worried about actually having the card.

You can now print out your membership "card" online on your own printer through the USFA website.

Bury socialist healthcare with Ted Kennedy.

While I can't speak for all bureaucrats I got a very timely response from Ms. Dana Brown, director of member services. I emailed her 2 days before my competition and she emailed me within hours with a nice officious letter that stated that I'm a member in good standing and provided the membership number.

It took me less than 5 minutes to register and print out my card.
