    Wide shoes

Seems like most fencing shoes are cut on the narrow size. I am looking for a wider fencing shoe. I have a Morton's Neuroma on my left foot and too tight a shoe cause real pain, but I don't have a wide foot. I need something that won't pinch without being sloppy. A removable insole is a big plus.

    Thanks

The Stabil 7 has a pretty wide toe box compared to most shoes I've worn.

Bury socialist healthcare with Ted Kennedy.

Cutting liberals down to size is my business, and business is GOOD.

For once I have to agree with Chase.

The Scimitars are the widest shoes we have over at Absolute. They're like small boats.

I don't want too wide. How do the scimitars compare to the blades?

Last question. Is the $50 price difference worth it? Keep in mind I am an unrated recreational fencer who goes to about 2-3 tournaments per year. I don't mind spending money on good equipment, as long as I get value for my money.

    Thanks.

New Balance has plenty of shoes in widths. Not a real problem with me since I switched to chair

I've had brain surgery, what's your excuse?

I personally think so. Leon Paul was the first set of shoes that actually felt comfortable on my wide feet. Before I had a nice fitting pair of shoes I'd actually notice my feet felt funny during a bout, now I don't. My shoes are the most expensive part of my kit. Or they were until the head of my club got a really good deal on some FIE masks.
