Just did a family renewal. Tedious, but it worked. Bugs I found:
    • Email address for one of my daughters was wrong and I couldn't change it on the renewal form -- this was noted before, but I tripped on it
    • The cell phone numbers were listed as work numbers - initial data load problem
    • The system insists on a home phone number. Sorry, most kids treat their cell phone as the ONLY number they give out. Get over it.
    • Can't change the division. Kids in school need to be able to change it. The paper form allowed you to specify.
    • I'm doing a family; it lets me add all the information for my spouse/kids. It doesn't ask for passwords for them. HOWEVER, I made a mistake, and had to edit one of them. When I did, it insists I have to enter a password. That means I'm setting a password for someone else - bad, bad, bad

Another bug. It sends email to all family members about renewal, even though I checked "no" to some of the "contact by email". It includes the visa information, which is within the family, but really should only go to me. A simple: your family membership has been renewed should be sufficient, if anything needs to be sent to anyone else but me.

I just list my cell number as my home number, given that it's my only phone it serves that function. This is common to many data forms
What's the "real" world again? I don't think I can see it from my window

This is an awesome service. Wait, nevermind. It's f*cking terrible. I have 10 $60 charges pending on my bank account and 1 $120 charge from the good people at hang-a-star. Not awesome for me because I'm a student. Not awesome for them because I'm a law student and am quickly losing patience. I'm used to the USFA sucking, but this is really something else.
