Array Note that the Dublin Men's Epee Satellite offers two rounds of pools (one "pre-tournament" round to seed the actual tournament).
There are a number of other satellite events on the FIE calendar. Participation numbers and field strength can be highly variable.
More generally, a lot of tournaments in Europe can be found on nahouw.net.

Invitations are posted on the FIE website. As well as nahouw, another source for European events is the ECC website. http://www.eurofencing.info/EfcEng/defaultE.htm -

One of the few places where IE beats out Firefox.... IE doesn't support the tag, while Firefox does.*
The EFC site is good for cadet and veterans events. Not so useful for other age categories than the various European Championships events, which are unlikely to be of significant use to most readers here.

The invitation for the Aphrodite Cup was on the news section of the ECC website. http://www.eurofencing.info/EfcEng/defaultE.htm
While I agree that the ECC website isn't necessarily the best for everything, one nice feature is the "updates" link. Clinking on updates shows what is new and when it was posted rather than having to look through the whole website for changes. Similar Threads -
