Chase is missing a few very important points:
The bible that he holds so dear is a creation of the Catholic Church that he despises. It was heavily edited and redacted, and let's not forget the absolutely abysmal translation. Actually I find it more amusing that Jesus was a practicing Jew until the day he died, and that Christianity was a creation of a few of his ardent followers.
And as for the ACORN scandal, there is nothing to say that the ACORN workers involved took this bogus prostitute and pimp seriously. We already know that at least one was messing with them by telling the tale about killing her ex-husband.
It's entirely plausible; I know that I would have no problem messing with some obviously phony characters, or having a purely hypothetical discussion on how you could pull off this prostitution racket. We have purely hypothetical discussions of some fairly politically incorrect stuff right here on F.net all the time!
IF the complete un-edited tapes are ever made available we may be able to have some insight on the situation. Until then I am reasonably skeptical of the honesty and accuracy of this sting operation, and the motives of those behind it.

Well, Reverend Hauptman, like everything else, you just don't have the facts straight.
If you want to believe that the Catholic Church just made up a bunch of stories, then that is between you and whatever. It was Jesus that created the Christian Church. And he may have been a practicing Jew until the day he died, but he wasn't after the resurrection on the third day! I pray that one day you will learn the joy of God's love. Peace be with you!
What is your opinion on the biblical apocrypha? Obviously (not obviously?) someone had to write it down in the first place. Do you think that it was a divinely inspired transcription or a collection of former holy writings and that all further translations of it are also an accurate transcription?
I personally think Islam did it right by refusing to acknowledge any translation of the Koran as legitimate, due to exactly that problem.

Sun Yat Sen has a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth. Obama has a Certification of Live Birth. Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 was NOT in effect in 1961, when Obama was born. Note that Obama's Certificate of Live Birth lists where he was born. Note also that there is a published newspaper report of birth, which was submitted by the HOSPITAL where he was born.

There is a conspiracy group in the US, commonly referred to as BIRTHERS which persist in the belief that Barack Obama was not born in the US. The campaign put his birth certificate online to dispute this claim and it just fueled the rumors because it is a CERTIFICATE OF A LIVE BIRTH rather than a "BIRTH CERTIFICATE". Now I note that my Indiana birth certificate says, CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH REGISTRATION and that all Hawaii birth certificates say, CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH. However, some folks just love a good conspipracy theory and -- much like the 9/11 theory conspirator theorists who believe the US government was involved in the 9/11 attack -- they're not about to let facts get in the way.
According to most of the web pages I've seen, they believe that Barack Obama's parents traveled to Kenya prior to his birth and that he was born there (or maybe in Canada, depending upon which theory you prefer). The guy who Swift Boated John Kerry traveled to Kenya and recorded Barack Obama's step-grandmother saying that he was born in the US. However, the translator said Kenya and they've been playing the tape with her correction cut off so that it appears she is saying he was born in Kenya.
I pause here to question why in the hell any American-born woman, let alone a teenager and let alone one with no income, would travel to a third world country to give birth. This is not Angeline Jolie. The Obamas did not have money and neither did Obama's maternal grandparents. How the hell did they allegedly get to Kenya?
Okay... back to the conspiracy theory: So those who want to believe Obama was not born in the US claim that the certificate of a live birth is a fake, planted after he was born in Kenya and that the state of Hawaii, etc. has conspired to hide this evidence. The state department of health also submitted the usual birth information to the local newspaper, which printed the report of Obama's birth but the conspirators are claiming his parents sumitted it, not the hospital.
Another birther theory is that his Hawaii birth certificate is actually one that can be requested for a foreign birth. This, however, ignores the "L 1982" after the citation, which indicates this became legal in 1982, long after Obama was born.
There are dozens of other BIRTHER theories that continue once people accept the Hawaii birth certificate as valid, just to insure that the conspiracy continues. The BIRTHERS will never be satisfied any more than the DEATHERS (9/11 conspirators) will ever be satisfied. Just ask someone if Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in shooting JFK.
Americans love conspiracy theories and we're very, very gullible.
I'm not actually satisfied with documentation- so easy to fake! I will not stop fighting the illegitimate Obama administration until I see *real* evidence of his birth: I want the placenta!
I think that the silent majority is with me here. There are many of us who are striving to see that our Constitution is upheld. We call ourselves afterbirthers.
But none of this seems to clear up the essential question of weather Hawaii is part of the US or not!
