Allstar Ecostar Hi guys,
I'm opening a new thread about Allstar Ecostar fencing jacket because this one (Allstar Ecostar FIE jacket) has been closed.
How is this suit? I know that it is not the Startex but it also costs much less!!
Considering that I'm quite a beginner in fencing, do you think that it could be ok?
Do you have any photo??
thanks in advance...

Array dont be cheap. the startex is more expensive for a reason. you get what you pay for. -
I have a uhlmann's "Royal" fencing suit which is the same as the allstar's Ecostar, only with the different name. It's heavier than other suits. But it could be OK for beginners. -
Yea I agree, the ecostars are not the lightest and stretchiest but they can do. I have the pants and think they are ok, i did have the Leon Paul competition range 350N and those were more stretchy so if that helps. But the ecostar is good if you are on a budget for safety. -
I've had the Ecostar uniform since April (as does my 14 y.o. son)
Comments made are correct, they ARE a tad heavier than others (but not so much as to notice when fencing) but ARE much cheaper, especially here in Australia and most especially when buying 2 sets (which is noticeable fencing or not). They wick well, feel very comfortable and are bright white, not that off-white creamy colour some uniforms have (not the most important criteria, but nice) We are both very happy with them.
cheers,
Geoff. Similar Threads -
