Hanwei Hutton Sabre, practice sturdy???

Hello there, my fencing club has always dabbled in historical fencing literature (our coach is a stage combat instructor by trade) and we have recently come into possession of three Hanwei Hutton Sabres. These swords seem sturdy enough as we work through some of Hutton's lessons slowly, but I was wondering will these sabres stand up to full speed contact? I'd hate to have them shatter after one bout. The website refers to the blades as being high-carbon flex-tempered blades that are fully functional for practice. My thought, however, is that of course the website's going to say that!

I would think these two (for starters, there are more) would be more productive fora for your question...
