It's often hard to discern the children indoctrinated by the right wing/those with extreme privilege from trolls, even in person.

In my private Catholic high school, we were asked to put together an absolute baseline budget for religion class--- including only what we would need to survive. The vast majority of my classmates included budgeting for a vacation. When we discussed it as a class, they could not accept that people can and do survive without EVER going on vacation.

That's another nice myth you bought into there, kid.

Reagan didn't do anything differently regarding the Soviets than any other president before him going all the way back to the Korean conflict. The only exception possibly being Carter. But in case you want to keep all the credit for Republican presidents, Kennedy and Johnson were Democrats, and anyone who would say that they were soft on the Soviets is really living a fantasy.

Reagan was just lucky enough that Gorbachev came along while Ronnie was president so he gets all the credit? Unless of course he arranged for the deaths of the many Soviet premiers who died in quick succession at the time.
