The funniest thing about this statement is that it is kind of true. Since there have only been 2 presidents this century, he really is one of the best. Not exactly the best award in the world, but still, it is true.....

Bush led us into Iraq based either on lies or ignorance. The operation was a disaster almost from the start with massive corruption and profiteering by Bush insiders.

The greatest economic collapse since the Great Depression occurred during the Bush administration despite being handed a balanced budget and healthy economy by the devil himself, Bill Clinton.

Aside from Bush's appointing of incompetents at every turn such as Paul Bremer, Michael Brown, and Donald Rumsfeld.... exactly what the hell did Bush do right?!

Kinda necessary given the economic situation brought about by various deregulations that started back in the Ronny Raygun admin...thus opening the door for across the board fraud and greed on an institutional level. The bailouts became necessary...although there should've been more oversight on them from the get go.

And he apologized right away (without having to be told to do so, unlike Joe Wilson, who even said he was told to do so by GOP leaders)...and only right-wingers still have their panties in a bunch over this....Maria Shriver accepted the apology right off.

And Bush pissed away a massive budget surplus that could've possibly been used to offset the economic crash this year. Our debrt didn't increase under W?? Really?

A 9 year old who was illegally taken from his home by her mother. With her dead, Elian Gonzalez had no immediate family in the States...his father was the proper guardian. The Cuban community in Miami had no legal right to hold him. Returning Elian to his FATHER in Cuba was the right thing to do, legally and morally.

Not getting into the SEAL action (which was correct, regardless of what fat ass Limbaugh thinks), you can't compare the two. Waterboarding isn't just "pouring water over someone's face," it's making them feel like they're drowning...something that would put me into a blind panic if it was done to me (as drowing is a major fear of mine). Did you not see the Mancow show where the host -- who had nearly drowned as a child -- voluntarily was waterboarded and lasted a total of 6 seconds before getting up from the the table....something a real WB subject could not do??

Information gained under extreme duress has rarely been accurate historically. We're supposed to be be better than that.

Saved the American auto industry...Cash for Clunkers has been working (you DO know that some US automakers have rehired workers at this point, right). And at least saving the auto industry had a direct effect on the economy, since they make things people actually use sand put people to work.

Waterboarding does not make someone feel like they're drowning. You are drowning the person. You're just doing it in a way that's easier to stop than, say, holding someone underwater. If you didn't stop waterboarding the person, they would die, of drowning.

When you're making a direct comparison between Bush and Obama, I think pointing out that both did it is valid. It's not an excuse, it's pointing out hypocrisy to not criticize or praise both for it.

Anyway, I think it's funny that our political views are so different that I read Obama's supposedly negative resume and Bush's supposedly positive list, and I think Obama comes off a lot better.
