suspicious why the liberal media hasn't reported this

    http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArti...37303887307172

why haven't they reported this? is it because it would under-cut all they're lies they've fed us?

Oh my word. We haven't discussed this in at least a couple of months.

    Old news.

    Do a search.

Think of the environmental damage that would be caused by all the bumper stickers getting thrown away.

You'll make very few friends here by posting links to outrageous stories like this.

    You've been warned.

Don't waste our time with rhetorical questions; you obviously have already made up your mind.

For all your complaints about the "liberal" media, you might want to find a more reliable source than the Investors Business Daily. They embarrassed themselves quite thoroughly with their recent assessment of British health care and Stephen Hawking; a quite pathetic excuse for journalism.

In their defence, it was an easy mistake to make. Hawking's voice simulator doesn't have an English accent and he very rarely says things like "Wot wot, govn'a"

That's a dodge....it's not like he's hidden his nationality for his entire life....a little research -- even hitting Wikipedia -- would've been appropriate.

A search? I believe that the Sun being the culprit is brand new news, which should break the "consensus" of the liberal pseudo-scientific community.

So why don't you go set another terrorist free?

sun spots changing the weather on earth has been a theory since 1842.
it does not change the "consensus"

Now let the brilliant pick-up-truck-epistemology attacks on science begin.

this doesnt do anything to prove the global warming THEORY. my biggest concern is that none of theyre observations or evidence has established a reliable base-line-range to compare against. this study just looked at the past 1000 years, while the earth is (supposedly) over 5 billion years old.

ohhh, i am sorry, I did not know you expected me to do a 5,000,000,000 year study to debunk the BS link you posted. I thought you were concerned because the "liberal" media did not pick up and repeat the story that you liked so much.
Since you do not know what is going on, I will let you in on a little secret (well, a secret to you). Certain media outlets(talk radio, weekly standard, your link) will tweak facts and fabricate stories so they can sell to idiots (you) that are dying to have there warped views (the earth is only 3000 years old, and humans could never effect it) vindicated.
The mainstream media does not pick up these stupid stories, and they are accused of being "liberal" by the same media outlets

So, I'll admit, this one is easier to come across if you have iPlayer access (difficult, but not impossible in the US)........ But those from the UK, and Scots in particular, seem to be significantly more pissed about this than people in the US. Like, many Scottish people are FOR a boycott on Scottish goods/tourism/etc. And it's a majorly contentious issue, rather than something a few people went with for a news cycle or two and then fell off the radar.

You can not prove a theory, young man. You'd be better served by paying attention in science class instead of daydreaming how you're going to vote down school spending referenda.

In another thread he claims to attend a christian school. I suspect it's one of those schools that teaches that humans and dinosaurs were coeval. If this is the case, paying attention in science class will only further muddy his understanding of how science actually works.

And since everyone was vegetarian prior to "The FALL", carnivores used their fangs (which they had to have then too, since they didn't - horrors! - evolve them) for things like... cracking coconuts. No I'm not even kidding.
