Hello everyone, I am very interested in learning to fence Sabre, but I can't afford the full set of gear and lessons/club fees at the moment. I have purchased an S2000 sabre, a glove, and fencing shoes so that I can practice at home. If anybody has any good methods for practicing at home, please let me know! =)

Find a friend who actually fences sabre to give you some privates....you really can't learn from a book...at least not without seeing it first.
Get a pair of heavy dumbbells and carry them around constantly, thereby stretching your arms so that you knuckles reach all the way to the ground.
You forgot the required growth of a beetle-brow...
TrebleFox....so you understand this....the long-standing joke is that sabeurs are nothing more than knuckle-dragging Neanderthals...even though the game is far more subtle than that...it ain't all *grunt grunt....Thag lunge!*
if the Geico cavemen fenced, they'd fence sabre....
footwork, footwork, footwork, practice cuts, you can find instructional videos online, make sure you are using your wrist instead of your whole arm, etc. good luck! Sabre is a great weapon!
Welcome to the fold, my brother. Or sister. Too lazy to check the OP name xD
