New to Sabre! Hello everyone, I am very interested in learning to fence Sabre, but I can't afford the full set of gear and lessons/club fees at the moment. I have purchased an S2000 sabre, a glove, and fencing shoes so that I can practice at home. If anybody has any good methods for practicing at home, please let me know! =) -

Been There. Done That. Too Bad. -

TrebleFox....so you understand this....the long-standing joke is that sabeurs are nothing more than knuckle-dragging Neanderthals...even though the game is far more subtle than that...it ain't all *grunt grunt....Thag lunge!*
if the Geico cavemen fenced, they'd fence sabre.... -

Array No, everybody would expect them to fence sabre... Just like you, you cavemanist!
In reality, they'd actually fence epee, because they're classy like that. Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

Now, if you'd said "gassy" I would have had to nod assent. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array Welcome to the fold, my brother. Or sister. Too lazy to check the OP name xD In Flanders fields the poppies grow - Between the crosses, row on row, - That mark our place, and in the sky, - The larks, still bravely singing, fly, - Scarce heard amid the guns below. ~John McCrae Similar Threads -
