Fencing in Victoria, TX? Is there a fencing club in Victoria, Texas? Or will I have to drive 3 hours each way (i.e. give up fencing)? -

Array IIRC the furthest south and west for fencing in the Gulf Coast was Lake Jackson and then its Corpus Christi or San Antonio. Sorry, don't think there is anything in that area. :-( Check with John Trojanowski (Clear Lake/Galveston Clubs) (aka Schlaeger7), he might know of something (my info is VERY dated).
You could also start something there! Best of luck. -
Not that I'm aware of. I'm in Lake Jackson, which is the mentioned three hours away. There may be some dormant fencers you could scare out by starting a club.
What weapon?

Array This is just MY last info...
Other than the Lake Jackson group, Tim Kellog was trying to hold together the Robstown/Corpus Christi group that Grace started up a few years back. I believe Tim would welcome some new blood.
Also, it looks like Jacqueline Ballard will be relocating to Victoria. I got a mass email from Abdel Salem (I think it was a USFCA email) copying everyone on her desire to import a fencing coach to Victoria. Chinbeard, if you are moving to Victoria, you may have to practice with the Robstown bunch for awhile, then hook up with Ms. Ballard and perhaps become a founding member of the Victoria Fencing Club.
Welcome back to the Gulf Coast Division. Similar Threads -
