Fencing Equipment spotted for sale at Columbia, S.C. surplus property office.

My dad was down in Columbia last week and spotted a shopping cart full of fencing equipment. Not sure of the quantity or quality, though by dad's description it sounds like the blades are threaded (electric) at least. Someone down in Columbia might want to check it out.

Here's the link-the whole lot is for sale for $100.

Ugh, it seems that eligibility is limited: http://surplus.sc.gov/surplus/SP-eligibility.phtm

Only after the eligible agencies have their crack at something does it become available to the public.

I called about it, and as the lady was trying to describe it to me she said someone just bought it. Dammit.

    So what did you get?

Well I didn't buy it, and I found myself seriously doubting that there would be anything of value to me in the lot, but I was pretty curious just what the hell would be in this lot of fencing equipment that turned up at a state surplus property office.

Dammit! I had blocked my lunch today to go look for it...I was downtown yesterday at lunch but forgot the address on my desk.... >_<

$5 says it was someone at Palmetto

Edit: just called, it's definitely gone...and apparently this place was less than 10 minutes from where I work in Cayce

On the up side, they said there wasn't much of anything there, just random parts. could have been a bunch of junky grips for all we know
