TRAVEL INFO:
To and from Mission and the Host Hotel Crown Plaza:
We are arranging a shuttle to and from the host hotel. We must have a
reservation ahead of time to arrange for the shuttle. To take advantage of the
shuttle you must contact us by email. jeff@infinityelectronics.com. There
might be a small charge. The other option is a cab is Lindys Taxi 732-0044 at
$30.00
From Upstate:
A train into NYC and change at Penn Station to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road)
Crown Plaza picks up at the Ronkonkoma Station or if going to Mission directly
the Port Jefferson Stop is the closest. We have some shuttles going to the
hotel and the Port Jeff line or a cab is about $15 Lindys Taxi 473-0707
From Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts:
Using the ferrys make the trip much more enjoyable. Taking the New
London/Orient Point ferry at this time of year is not a good idea! The wine and
pumpkin festivals make travel a nightmare if you have to make deadline. If you
dont care it is beautiful and fun! The suggestion is the Bridgeport/Port Jeff
ferry. http://www.bpjferry.com/
A cab from the ferry to the club is $15 Lindys Taxi 473-0707
JFK Airport:
There is a train that stops at all the terminals called Airtrain. You want to
stop at the LIRR (Jamaica) Station. If you are staying at the Crown Plaza you
will need to get on the Ronkonkoma Station. Call the Hotel and they will pick
you up there.
ISP McArthur (Islip) Airport:
The Crown Plaza has free shuttles to and from this airport
LaGuardia Airport:
A little more confusing. From the airport you can get a cab to the Woodside
LIRR station I am told about $10-$15. Take that to Jamaica Station. Transfer
to Ronkonkoma Station and there will be a shuttle from the hotel to the
Ronkonkoma Station. (the cab directly to Jamaica I am told is about $25-$35)
