Tomorrow I am going to have lunch with a former trial attorney in San Diego. Fortunately I never had to run up against him in court (another reason I like being in house) The man was a veritable tiger.
He just wrote a book. I never realized Brian had a tumor in his brain actually 2, and he is actually 1 craniotomy ahead of me. The book talks about his fight and is a guide for caregivers. I learned about this through my local bar association magazine and contacted him to say "Thank you" for writing the book. I also put him in touch with the local brain injury foundation.
Funny, he thinks I am the inspiring one, nope. I hope I can make it through lunch without crying too many times.
Go to this site for more on his book and listen to the little "filmstrip" over on the right side.

Even funnier, he was a naval academy classmate with my forst coach in San Diego.
Just thought I'd share.
