We became in charge of a lot of things, because we took the lead in World War II if we hadn't we would not be the world police - they would. It would be interesting, I haven't seen the new film F'in Basturds, but it is supposed to be about 'what would have happened if.....the Nazi's won the war? it would be a completely different world, who can write the script for that? But I think that we're slowing getting out of that roll, and I'm pretty sure it's because we don't have the huge amounts of money that we once had; the euro 'evened out the playing field' a bit; I think Europe will be taking a more prominent role in the future fifty years or so, but it gives us that chance to build up the infrastructure of the USA - it takes a long time to get things back together - I think 50 or 100 years to really make it rich again.
