The referee availability form has not been updated. Is there contact info for NAC A yet?

THS's website says there are no fencing tounraments scheduled.

Thus, you cannot yet reserve a room.

If you can't reserve a room, you can't register.

If you can't register, you can't eat.

Stay and Play and Fence and Feed at work my friends. But the upside is that you get a $10-20 reduction on your four-star hotel and seven-course prix fixe dining!

Arrgh, make my avatar show up you swine.

Generally the people doing the hiring for the NACs/JOs/SN is determined at the FOC meeting in mid/late-August. Some years NAC A is done before that time.

Then do we know who the head referee is for NAC A to contact them directly? I assume many refs decision to fence could be influenced over whether they can referee as well.

The head refs are usually determined at the FOC meeting. Again, sometimes NAC A is done earlier than that.

Go to the well until the well is dry. When the well is dry find a new well.

Over the past 5 years the HR has been Sharon twice Geri twice Bill once. You could I suppose ask Sharon and Bill. I look forward to making some refs days more interesting

Well I actually wasn't talking about myself, because I tend to not fence those NAC things. But I know a few people in that boat...

I cannot find any of the info regarding the 2009-2010 season other than locations and there is no online registration for the NAC A. Where did you find the deadline?

I downloaded the entry form - are we back to the old fashioned way of sending in entries? There is no option for 2009-2010 on the online registration page.

Dunno - but AskFred has been live for like 4-5 years or something...

Oh, but wait, that would be keeping money within our community, not giving it to our outside "friends." What am I thinking?????

I find it amazing that between the two vendors most fencers have experience with. USFA has decided to not use FRED and to use THS more. This enhanced communitcation administration isn't working out as expected.
