    Cleaning Lame

I've been looking for an easier way to make sure our Lames are kept clean after practice and tournements. Has anyone tried using the non=bleach Clorox pop=up towelettes to clean up after events insteady of washing in a basin as suggested in the "parent's " brochure?

You need to use something that is pH neutral. Urine wouldn't work because it has a pH of around 4 (making it strongly acidic). Our club armorer suggested that we use woolmix (a small amount) that has a neutral pH level. Make sure you don't just put it in water because the sweat will then be simply washed all over the lame, and as sweat is acidic it is not advisable.

Use the instructions on my website....trust me. Wiping them down will not get in between the fibers.

if you're gonna clean them, do it right.
