T-shirts from 2009 Summer Nationals Does anybody know who was the vendor selling the T-shirts with the participants names printed on the back? We forgot to get them while being there..
Thanks! -
Team IP. Act quickly, beacsue I believe they donate the extras to charity outside of the country. (Probably the same place the NFL sent the Patriots Superbowl champion gear.) -
A thought for USFA: We would have liked to buy a few t-shirts, maybe a sweat suit, but what was offered was quite limited and very stylistically "dedicated". Perhaps some basic USFA gear could be offered every year, and perhaps there could be a less stylistically "dedicated" SN design as well as the more idiosyncratic designs.
Not everybody wants to make a fashion statement, and some might want just the more basic USFA stuff. I had money to spend (since I didn't stay at the Gaylord), and little to buy (aside from blades and other equipment). -
Thanks a lot, ballisticmonkey,
I was able to order them! -

At the risk of political incorrectness if you are simply looking for fencing t-shirts proprintwear appears at some tournaments and has a website..... they actually will MAKE a t-shirt for you from a design and you pick the colors etc..... we have had some really good ones from there..... or cafe press also has fencing tshirts. These do NOT have the names of the competitors of the usfa tournaments on the back, but proprintwear will make a shirt with the names from the competition plus a choice of the front if you are at one of the tournaments for which they are the clothing vendor..... Also many of the colleges, clubs etc sell tshirts with fencing logos etc on them. -
If I gave the impression that I was looking to have custom made shirts to suit my tastes, then I apologize for being unclear. My point was that this was an opportunity to sell basic USFA wear at the summer nationals, and it was unfortunate that they didn't. I, like most people, will buy something I see that I like. I don't feel so strongly that I would have something custom made. It's just a missed chance for the USFA to pick up some funding. -

Array Note that US Fencing licenses the right to make/sell logoed shirts (to TeamIP, in this case), but doesn't do so directly. Product suggestions would presumably be welcomed by TeamIP. Meanwhile, while I haven't seen the contract, I would be somewhat surprised if US Fencing could go into direct competition with their own licensee.

"FENCE AND WEAR" A new program where you are only allowed to wear clothing sold by ITeam at NACs. You don't like the tie-dye designs? You can't fence. Similar Threads -
