experimentation with the HD flip video camera is happening.

i'm slowly (wifi here isn't great) uploading several hours worth to the fencing.net youtube channel.

thought i'd mention it. there might be a few issues, like time limits, that might slow some things down. video is high quality though.

some videos are [finally] up. there's an issue with length to deal with.

they're not hd by default and not all of them have the HD button yet. add &hd=1 to the end of the URL to see the better quality versions.

I've had the best HD upload results with youtube when I reprocess everything to 1280 x 720.

Any chance you might have a video or know someone that does have a clip of the Homer/Schneider DIV 1 Men's Saber bout? I did not see it but was told it was a good bout.

ahh yes homer vs shenider was a great bout! i dont think any1 was taping the bout tho.

We have it but YouTube denied it because our video was 11:35 and the limit it at 10.

noodle has the footage on his eeepc. Don't know when he'll get a chance to cut 95 seconds off of the video to repost.

i saw one of those HD flip cameras, they seem very good quality! i might buy one for recording future tournaments..

eeepc is lighter and does all standard tasks well. easy to travel with. it gets dropped or stolen and its not a major setback on my bank account

There were a gazillion video cameras at all of those finals..... can't someone please share? PM and I will tell you precisely the bouts I am looking for.... if you are going to tape people not your kids or teammates please share. If you are a coach, and I saw a LOT of you, you are making money on these vids. Please share. Thanks.
