Silent Auction at Summer Nationals to Benefit USA Olympians and National Teams

Hi,

If you're at summer nationals and wouldn't mind spreading the word and/or bidding on cool items! There is a silent auction with the proceeds going to benefit the US team happening right now at US Summer Nationals until the 7th of July.

There are some really cool items including memorabilia and clinic opportunities with struff involving the Jonas brothers, a swimming clinic with Michael Phelps and a slew of other neat things.

Please spread the word! Your support is appreciated!

Tim

The Jonas brothers boy-band and bong-boy Phelps? No thanks. How about some fencing-related items? That would sell.

You're right, the jonas brothers and michael phelps can't touch fencing's popularity.
EYEROLL.

We will definitely try to get those things for any future auctions. We didn't have time for this one.

I thought a broadsword would be the perfect thing to have in the house with 3 year old twin boys living here

EYEROLL.

It's the biggest fencing meet in the US. Think the participants would be more interested in fencing items for auction than Jonas Bros stuff? Duh.

What sort of fencing-related prizes do you think would sell for more than jonas brothers or michael phelps related stuff?
I mean, maybe if fencing is literally the entirety of the lives of every single person attending nationals and they don't care about anything else at all, maybe. But there's a good chance that things that are a Huge deal to the general public are still going to be a Really Big deal to fencers.
Duh..

Gee, what a coincidence, I JUST happen to have one I could sell you!

Provenance, I regret to inform you, is unavailable. But I'll give you a good price! And I'll throw in this bridge I happen to own at half price!
