2009 Crescent City Open
After what appeared to be some technical difficulties on AskFred, it looks like the Crescent City Open is on for Oct 31 - Nov 1 at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside:

I put this up because earlier in the year there was some curiosity about it.

Hopefully weather won't interfere with fencers' travel plans this year.

Technically, yes, but the odds of a late season storm in the Gulf at that time of year is extremely low.
