| One of Them Self-Hatin' Smokers! Anyone see the irony in a cigarette smoker being excited about ruining the companies he's purchased from?
Or should I put it this way, anyone see the irony in someone who has promised to turn the economy around (no matter the fact that it was mostly his fault to begin with) make more regulations and thus decrease profits and jobs? |

So this is it. Good-bye. I will pray for each and every one of you, especially the cases of AndrewH, Beeblebrox, Inquartata, and To_The_Point, because you are blessed with superior brain power and God needs more of us smart people to do his work.
God Bless America,

He's been in office how long now? - President takes office on January 20, 2009
- President's economic stimulus package is passed in March of 2009 which was the end of the 1st quarter
- How do we gauge whether the economic plas has worked? Wait. Until the end of the 2nd quarter that is, which ends in June.
So before you start blaming President Obama for the "problems" he's inherited do your homework. And give him a chance, like say a year. |

The minor market adjustment turned into a crisis because people knew hussein obama was going to be elected and try to turn us into the soviet union. I knew it was over long before November 4th. Knowing that the government is going to ruin everything by raising taxes and punishing hard work is not helpful to confidence.
Reeally? The hopelessly big hole of debt is going to be paid off by the second quarter? |

Good luck with that Trick. I won't be praying for you.
Also the analogy in your OP makes no sense. You should stop listening to the voices in your head. (Except for the ones that tell you to leave Fnet forever. You should listen to those voices) |

The economy tanked and people decided it was time to change the people in charge.
People trusted McCain more on national security issues. They didn't trust him on financial matters and he couldn't overcome that disadvantage. |

Never mind, I'll answer that.....Of course you did. So since you knew about the sub prime mortgages why didn't you warn anyone? Quote:

Instead, you should listen to... ME. Just look at all those things that those satanistic people like scientist have tried to convince others about, like this fallacy that the earth revolves around the sun! Or the existence of unseeable organisms that somehow cause disease, instead of the truth that it is caused by being sinfull towards the TRUTH. I have the one source of truth for everyone. Any attempt to prove otherwise is nothing less than proof that you have fallen in league with the Devil, and thus should be immediatly excumunicated from F.net!
Now, about that issue of Point in Line....

It is nice to see that the ultra-conservative right has not lost their ability to take something that is completely unbelievable and wrap it in an emotionally charged presentation that appeals only to the most intelligence-challenged individuals of our population.
I don't think it matters WHICH democrat gets elected. Whenever ANY democratic candidate gets elected to the office of President of the United States, we will be inundated by these kinds of baseless claims.

| The OP is so over the top, so crazy, that it's hard to believe that anybody actually believes it. It has to be just a troll to get responses. Nobody could be that nuts.
Oh, sorry - the previous sentence is completely wrong.

I never said that the "big hole of debt" would be paid off by the second quarter. I said that effects of his economic plan won't be seen until then. That is the barometer after all. But of course you knew that as well. | I never claimed to have any kind of clairvoyance, so don't even bother pursuing that straw man. I only said that I, along with many others, knew that that arab socialist would get elected. The liberal media adored him even more than their previous pet, McCain. Therein lies the bigger problem, even if hussein obama did lose to McCain, we'd still have a liberal idiot as a president. The free market is poisoned by these morons, and it was a losers choice. If the Republican Party had any guts, they'd have kicked McCain out long ago, and people might have actually cared about the election if they got to vote for a good American like Huckabee, instead of trash like mccain or hussein.
And I guess you're a slacker who will probably get a bigger welfare check, so you're not worried about paying off the debt because hard workers like my family will pay it for you, right? |

| Anyway, back to the main point, doesn't anyone else see how expanding the already overblown FDA is a bad idea? My uncle works in pharmaceuticals, and he has seen these idiots drag their feet and cost companies lots of money needlessly, and sometimes cost people their lives because the drug they needed wasn't approved by big brother. |

| Huckabee was a fun candidate. Lots of charisma. Lot of fun. I'd love to have a beer with him. I'd never vote for him. He's quite a loony.
Thank the heavens he didn't become the "leader of the free world."
