Since this is being held at the San Diego Fencing Center rather than a hotel, this is really more of a clinic than a confernce, right MdA?

Put another way, participants will be involved in the physical sessions and not just listening to lectures and observing demonstrations, right?

Yes, you will be involved. Bring your gear.

Hotel room at USFCA conference

Hi

The block of USFCA rooms is gone. The rate for a single or double now is $169. Would anyone (er, any non snoring or smoking person, that is) like to split a double for Thurs-Fri-Sat nights?

There are some motels closer to the club, but they're not that much cheaper than the Hilton, and I'd just as soon be at the same hotel as everyone else, the bar will be more fun.

If you'd like to split a room PM me or email me at K_S_ONeill (at) yahoo (dot) com.

I thought that Wang had already passed his Prevot, and was taking his Maitre in saber.

Maybe you have your wang confused with another wang?

I'm reasonably certain its the same 1. And I was there when he passed the prevot in sabre in May...

On a more serious note...I will check with the Secretary....and see if we can clarify Wang Yung's certification status. Thanks

An attendee mentioned Wang's passing for Master of Sabre in his livejournal recently.

Tsk! This thread might make Wang cross. And you should never cross Wangs, you know.

Your right. Wang Yung passed his Maitre d'Sabre at the Conference. I confirmed that the earlier email was a misprint.

Here is the a link to some pictures.

From: "Mary Annavedder"

I uploaded 77 photos to a web album. You can see them at http://picasaweb.google.com/pointmary They are under USFCA CONFERENCE.
