The Keystone Games will not be sanctioned by a division this year. I hope people will still come fence at the Keystones.

Walk ons are welcome at the Keystone games. The late fee is being waived. If you are coming and have not already done so, please drop me an email with your name, club, rating. Since the registration was done through Keystone and not askFRED, I need to hand enter everyone. I want to make sure that registration goes quickly so we can get to the fencing. Thanks.

I have only heard from a few people who will be walk ons for the Keystone games. If we have very small fields for a men's and women's event, we may combine them. The top 3 women and top 3 men would still get medals. This is just a possibility because right now some of the events only have 1, 3 or 4. You will get more fencing for your buck. Please introduce yourselves at registration.

When you enter the Keystones, they will try to charge you a $7 per person fee for spectators. DO NOT PAY IT! Keystone did not give me any warning of this fee. I found out at 5pm this evening when we were setting up. Needless to say, I had an adverse reaction.

The agreement between Keystone and myself at this point is NO ONE coming into fencing will be charge. If anyone questions you, tell them you are family of a fencer or call me cell at 968-2122. I will gladly come out and handle it.

I am very disappointed in the Keystone management for pulling this. I have been working with them for several months trying to get everything settled. I even talked to my Keystone contact yesterday and no mention was made of a spectator's fee.

Please let me know if you have any problems with them. How they handle this will impact how willing I am to work with them again next year. I apologize for an inconvenience.

First Day of Keystones went well. I will post results from both days tomorrow night. Thanks to everyone who made the drive, helped out in any way. I especially want to thank the people that jumped in and helped ref. It made the tournament go much quicker and was appreciated by all.

I don't know about anyone else that was at the tournament, but I for one think Nannette here needs a huge round of applause (and a bottle of wine!) for pulling the Keystone Games together!
