Array introducing Google Wave Google just introduced their upcoming product, Wave, at their I/O developer conference.
This thing is amazing. It's basically the evolution of online, textual communication.
The conference video is one hour and twenty minutes long, but maybe even the first 30 minutes will let you know what it's about.
There's lots of potential for this to be used in place of or complementary to a message forum. http://wave.google.com/ -
That Guy
Array Looks like it could be pretty cool. Has lots of potential for live events - think UStream type stuff.

Array Here's an article from a tech site about it... http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/01/google_wave/
I'd like to go on the record and state that I hate the presentations that seem de rigeur in big corporations. -
From the little I have seen (and no I have not seen most of the video) it really seems like combination between pidgin, onenote, a good email client, and firefox with built in twitter and FB support....
Well...I have an email client I like. I have onenote. I have firefox, and I have a nice system for accessing twitter and FB...
I like gmail. My love of google products stops there. I am not really all that excited.,
That said I reccomend onenote to everyone. No one has any similar program (sadly, I do have a linux laptop that I would love to throw onenote on) Similar Threads -
