| I would not part with my mostly dead AF ultralight lame. It looks fine, dut does not register hits worth a darn. We rarely test lames here.

I have recieved a photo so think I am all set for an AF.
I was wondering wether the issue was testing at nac's rather than functionality for practice so this answers part of my question.

Seriously though we are looking into this to see if anything can be done but I am not holding out much hope I am afraid. We take the transaction in USD but it is paid back to a USD account held in the UK. I have no idea why some banks have started to do this. Well in fact I do and it is the reason above!
I would complain to your bank and if enough people complain they will have to stop making this ridiculous charge. |

| Well, Alex, just as a point to realize - you do understand that the customer's have little standing or even ability to make this complaint. For example, when one complains to the bank, they're going to come back and say that we have no proof that the merchants (yours) bank account is in USD. To them, its an account in a foriegn country, so its an international transaction. And so then we're stuck.
In point of fact though, I'd fully expect this charge, even from an account in the USA to an account in [Britain, Australia, China, France, etc] that was in "USD" becuase it is an "international transaction."
But, here's a hypothetical: What if you were to open an account at a US bank for the purposes of doing business in the USA? I'd be curious to see if you could find one who wouldn't charge you an international transaction fee when transferring the money to your regular bank across the pond in Britain. But then, its entirely possible that you might, given that you're doing a certain volume of buisiness.

| Bummed that I missed a window for this, I have an AF ultralight that's got little holes all over the front of it (it still passes conductivity, or did). |

| ...Wouldn't this just prompt someone to buy an AF UL on clearance, beat the hell out of it, and send it to you to get the discount? That would be my first thought, anyway....
