Hi all-was wondering if I could get some direction on where to look for a fencing coach and perhaps there is someone this forum interrested in being a fencing coach. Thanks!

It would help if you told us where you are.

If you have any fencing experience, information such as your weapon and level would be helpful.

With other posts about Rochester camps and tournaments.

But yes, more explicitly stated details will help you find what you're looking for.

Is RFC looking for someone in a full time capacity?

I used to give a few lessons there to some adults when I was in school at RIT, and I really miss the whole group of people. I don't think I'd be able to relocate back, but if the club can afford someone, it's a great opportunity. The amount of knowledge there is staggering.

Mmmm. Yes, that changes the assumed direction of the questions considerably.

As mentioned, it doesn't change the need for considerable added detail.

looking for a fencing coach

It depends on whether you're looking for an existing club or a coach.

You can look for clubs under the USFA site (www.usfencing.org). These are the clubs that have registered with the USFA, and may not be a comprehensive list of all clubs in your area.

Google is another source for clubs that have a website.

The US Fencing Coaches Association has a listing of coaches. Go to www.USFCA.org and look under "Find a Coach" and/or the membership listing under the "Membership" menu. These are all the coaches who are members of the USFCA.

Hi,
One of the events in the modern pentathlon is fencing, and Margaux learned the sport at the Arkansas Fencing Academy in Springdale. But, don’t worry if you and your child are not Olympic material. The Arkansas Fencing Academy provides opportunities for all skill levels, from novice to expert.
