Prieur made/makes a thin chamois glove but I haven't been able to find a US vendor that carries them.

The FWF gel glove is surprisingly thin, at least compared to most other fencing gloves.

As to durability, I've probably put 35 hours on mine and machine washed it twice, and the only visible wear is that the plastic letters started to come off the leather cuff, which is OK with me. Available at fencing.net.

i got my gel glove in dec 2008. my is already worn out on the finger area. the rubber is rub it off and i can see the rayon on the glove. the i think is repairable with plastic dip.
