    Portland NAC

Hey everyone. I just got back from Portland and my dad is uploading the videos as I am typing. I have a lot of Epee, Foil, and Sabre bouts, unfortunately none of them are labeled yet. I will let you all know when the bouts are all up and I have labeled them all. Until then here is the link to my account in case you want to try and find something interesting yourself.

Also, since I am not intimately familiar with the Epee I would appreciate it if someone could leave a comment telling me the first and last name of each of the fencers in the videos. I know most of them but it would save me a great deal of time if you guys were to help me out on this. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful service to the general community.

One question, however. I only see one foil bout, Shaito v Dupree. Will there be others or is this the only foil bout that you recorded.

    Thanks

I was wondering, would people be interested in commentary on the epee bouts? I'd be interested in doing a few.

what does commentary on epee even sound like.

"ref calls fence - ok they are standing there - now the fencer on the left is looking at his weapon his head tilted to the side - as if he doesnt understand a situation. The fencer on the right has taken his mask off and is trying to bite it - now they are both crying - yep the ref pulls out his white card - which for those at home mean that the epee fencers are getting fussy and need their bottle - here comes their nannies - ooh the fencer on the left just let out a loud burp - which seemed to make him giggle enough to make the fencer on the right cry and pee his pants a little. Ref pulls out the yellow card - which is an epee specific card - meaning that one of the fencers has pissed all over the front of his pants and needs a change - a common occurence. Now the fencers have finished their bottles and have been changed and powdered and are ready to fence - oh wait no the fencer on the left has spit up a little bit into his mask and is crying again and the right fencer is chewing on his body cord - here comes the nannies.."

I assure you that if you ever fenced Epeelion, you'd need a diaper change.

Ok-I have class and finals in these next few weeks, but I'll talk to CyrusOfChaos this week and see about working on a few bouts. Any particular requests?\

Any women's epee? (I realize that might not everyone's pick, so men's would be fine too.) Good luck with your finals! And I hope your friend Hall is feeling better...

I can't find the full Seth/Gigi bout, so Instead I'll do Ben Bratton and Gigi. I also want to do the bout at the Olympics between Tagliariol and Abajo. Give me a few days.

I put up the second and third period of the Seth/Gigi bout (which is all that I recorded of it) and all of the Bratton/Gigi bout is up too.

    Andrew,
Some of the videos are blocked as private (like part 2 of the MS final).

Mazzone-Bratton bout is done. Not the most exciting bout, but definitely some stuff to note. Any comments are appreciated. I will hopefully do the Tagliariol-Abajo bout next. That one is epic.
