Pier, well done. Bugger about losing to Peter Osvarth. As for the foil/epee dilemma, keep at the foil, I tried epee for awhile at IV a couple of years ago, really enjoyed it until I really started playing around with it, then I decided I really didnt like it. But if you like epee stick with it. WIll you be going to Melbourne early next year?

yeah i enjoy epee more than foil so i think thats what i'll go with. seems to suit my style more. might have something to do with being tall and skinny

yep i plan to go to every national event i can. i've missed out on the juniors by a few years (should have started a bit earlier!) so any experience is good experience i say. whens melbourne exactly? is next years calendar on the web somewhere? bloody AFF site is crap.

i enjoyed the queensland comp the most this year, location (gold coast) was great!!! on the day i left it was high 20s blue sky, flew into adelaide it was 12 degrees , overcast .. doh

Here Here about the AFF site! Melbourne is generally over a long weekend, so dig out your calander for next year and find the first long weekend in Victoria...its generally in Feb/March sometime. I will hopefully be there. Glad you enjoyed the Qld Comp, I must admit Carrarra is not exactly the best place in my book to have it accessability wise (even most of the Qld'rs have to drive an hour or so to get there) but beggers cant be choosers!!

Well, will have to go check the QAFA site. You mean I have to go to Canberra?? ICK! And there goes my plan of driving to Mel from Hobart via the trans tasman ferry!

yeah i'd prefer melbourne to canberra.. although i've never been to canberra. but not exactly the most exciting of destinations!

at this rate, soon we might see hobart and darwin instead of sydney and adelaide!!!
