Ottawa Fencing
Any fencers in Ottawa? How is it? Do you have to change the guard every couple of hours?

But seriously, I'm thinking of attending University of Ottawa, and am looking for Ottawa fencers. Looks like the University doesn't even have a fencing club

There is actually a club at the University, but we're not varsity so they like to pretend we don't exist :P.

Your best bet in town is Ottawa Fencing Club (OTT), the website is www.ottawafencing.ca. They're good for epee and foil (Women's Foil National Champs in 2008!). Otherwise, if you're a sabreist there's Carleton, and if you speak French you hop across the river to fence with Michel Dessureault's club, Masque de Fer.

I came to Ottawa for fencing, and it has yet to let me down .
