Oh yay, another point in line thread! In foil if fencer A is coming forward with a march, Fencer B executes a lunge that is short and out of time, but then leaves their arm out in PIL after Fencer A begins his attack but before he hits. Fencer A then finishes with a step lunge and hits, two valid lights. Does Fencer B's PIL have ROW?
Just another lost soul saved by the (hit) First Church of EPEE!

Walrus, this thread: Attack landing short resulting in PIL? did recently discuss this issue in great detail.

Proper point-in-line demonstrated by Fencer X.

And here you see Fencer G exhibiting improper point-in-line. It's very simple to understand, really. No need for any long explanation.

    Ah-hah!

    Preposition trouble.

It's not "He doesn't have to shoot you now"; it's "He doesn't have to shoot me now!"

    Oh wait.
