Thanks to all at the LBI

I would like to publicly thank the following armorers for putting up with the rookie at the Long Beach Invitational this last weekend: Dan DeChaine, Carl Oberg, Donald Clinton, Dolly (I never DID get your last name), and two gentlemen whos names I failed to get ('cause I'm a dork), one from Fullerton and one from San Diego.

I learned a great deal in the last two days about all those little small things in armory that will make me better. Thank you very much.

Sorry I didn't stay for dinner, but I had a wife to get home to who's younger than Dan, prettier than Donald, and has less hair on her face than Carl! How that guy gets a beer bottle to his mouth through that beard I'll never know!

See ya next time!

Where were you Sam? I tried looking for you (I was there only on Sunday) but I could not find you.

I was at the table most of the time. I DID deliver a couple of repaired weapons and act the coach role for one of my teammates a couple of time, although the strip for their bouts was the one right in front of the armory table.

I was the short balding one with the goatee and white t-shirt...also the only one who didn't drink!

You also may have come by when I was busy failing body cords for the sabre folks...one guy brought 5 and 3 failed...all with B and C line breaks right outside the housing (German cords).

I've GOTTA get me one of those DeChaine boxes!
