All Owners, Club Mangers and Coaches,
Last Tuesday my car was broken into by some slimebucket. They stole our brand new Leon Paul Scoring System,5 Triplett club Lames, Triplett Scoring Machine, cables. Plus my personal spare FIE STM weapons, 2 Favio testing box and my competition lame.
This happened in a suburb of Chicago, I have filled out a police report. Since our sport is, unfortunately, less than main stream there should be difficulty unloading mine/our club equipment to the scummy pawn shops or retailers.
The Police office suggested I contact or post pleas to all to be on the lookout for someone who wants to sell fencing equipment when in truth they don’t seem to have the slightest clue what they have.
If anyone is contacted or approached please contact me as soon as you can via my email address -
Please excuse me if my writing tone is abrupt or less the respectful - I am livid and beyond PO'd

thank you -

Array I would keep a sharp eye on ebay for your stuff. Sorry to hear about this, but rest assured that your tone was just fine.

Array Man don't even worry about sounding PO'd... you have every right to be. However, next time, try not to keep all that expensive stuff in the car at one time... at least, not when you're away from it. -

Array Also check craigslist.org for your area. I know of someone where I work who was able to get their expensive bicycle back when a slimebag was offering it for cheap, with the vague "I'm joining the military" explanation (not "I'm joining the Marines" or "...Army").
Best wishes on your recovery of the gear. Similar Threads -
