    third group penalties apply to the whole competition and not just the bout in question.
    That's true of spectator warnings but is NOT true of any other group III penalty. As with other cards, they disappear at the end of the bout.

    Yes, let's all cheer on an A fencer for slaughtering a U. Hoo-ah! Yeah! That was a tough match, let's support our fencer cause you know how much trouble those U's can be. We wouldn't want our A's ego to get bruised.


    Well the cheering reference was more to Mo's comments about crowds not your original complaint which frankly should have been obvious from the context. If not I will try and clarify more in the future.

    And yes, I will cheer for an A slaughtering a U if he is my buddy or a student of mine.

    The way I once dealt with a fencer who was making similar displays to the ones you mention was that after he scored a touch on me and was doing his "victory dance" I took my mask off and just commented that If it was that exciting for him to score a point on me he must not be as good as I had been lead to believe.
    He quit howling after that.
