Okay, so I am crying wolf, but Lily is close enough that we are evacuating tonight and in the morning. I'd be on my way tonight but I have to be at work 6:30 a.m. to make sure everything is in order at the schools before getting out myself.
See you all sometime in the future. No telling considering that if hit hard, I may kiss my internet access goodbye for a while.

Fortunately, Lili veered more to the East than we had expected. We didn't get anything. Also, Lili downgraded to a Category 2 before hitting landfall. I haven't heard how much damage occured where it did hit.
Take care.

d'art, my apologies, i did a really good chant for your groups over in texas and louisiana, and it looks like everyone could probably do their laundry in all the water that's being dumped. true to form, and to inform the board, the louisiana people know what to do: they first drag out the kyaks, roll up the rugs, and bring the furniture upstairs, where it's 'not so damp'
