Array PalmFencer scorekeeping software Jon Daley from Idaho has written a new version V 2.0) of the PalmFencer scorekeeping software for Palm Handhelds (Palm, Sony CLIE, Handspring, whatever else).
Lots of cool new features and bug fixes.
Features:
1) Colored Yellow or Red screen for yellow or red cards
2) Can flip the sides of the players and scores (so that if one fencer is left-handed... or if in team match, need to flip the sides because of handedness)
3) Keeps track of the touches in DE bouts
4) Underlines the winners' score in pool bouts, so if the score is 3-1, time expired, you don't have to wonder who won (because you didn't see a "5").
5) Separate screen for the clock. When you hit the up/down button to start the clock, it shows a new screen with a HUGE clock, indicating that you successfully clicked the button (and hence the clock has started) and you can also easily see the time. When you click the up/down button again, it shows the score format. Also, (which is really nice), you can tap the <back> icon button to see the scores and such and the clock still runs.
6) Can run pool bouts up to 11 fencers. Good for club bouting where you have a large pool so that everyone gets to fence everyone else.
Check it out at www.handango.com. Pay the lousy $15 and make Jon and yourself happy. Get a color screen to take advantage of the yellow/red card screens. Search for palmfencer. -
That Guy
Array Looks like good software.
I didn't see this in the description, so I'll ask:
Does it allow for parsing out the bouts to multiple palms and then re-syncing the data back to the "host" computer for tabulating all the data?

Array I believe it does. There is a beam pools and beam bouts menu item. If you or anyone on this board (and has a copy of the software) is going to Orlando, we can test it out to see if I can send a bunch of pools to referee Jimbo and when he's done, he can send them back to me.
It was one of the features I asked him to consider. Similar Threads -
