| Boo,
I thought you were one of the Edinburgh girls, which is why is said I'd seen you (all) fencing. Having watched Liz Wright & Nicola Ramsay fence, I think I would be onto plums when I fenced them.
Mo,
I really like the King of the Hill idea. I might suggest it next week.
Gav,
Believe it or not, I actually spent all of last night fencing Epee, although I have to admit I got bored rather quickly and charged at my opponents in a mad frenzy. Suffice to say, I didn't win many fights! Still, I'm sure I could put up with fencing Epee for a bit in order to get to the pub.
135711,
I still don't understand you, but it's very endearing. You are quite obviously bonkers, in the nicest possible way.
Cheerio,
Spanky. |

| No, as Haggis pointed out, I live and train a LONG way from Edinburgh. I just know quite a few of the Edinburgh girls and they are a really nice bunch (and excellent fencers).
I don't believe that Nic is fencing much at the moment - which is a shame (I have a lot of respect for her fencing and she is a lot of fun): haven't seen her since the Winton Cup (when she was fencing Sabre!?!).
Might get the opportunity to fence in Scotland next year if I am really lucky: I believe that the Scottish are hosting the 5 nations. Just have to do well enough to get picked for the team again - a lot of results to get before that happens...

| Get over here you lazy sod! Simply put, the only thing you can do is come over and fence in Edinburgh, you can get a lift over with Dave the week after next (he won't be there next thursday). At RCP we have some very competetive beginners at foil, and a couple of 'older' fencers who pop in and out on occassion (even Alan Loveland, or what ever his name is). OK, they might not be your level, but they're different!
Of course, there is always the option of fencing epee, I really want revenge for the last time, when I think, to my infinite shame, you beat me .

| Hello Sasori,
It seems like all you Edinburgh types are ganging up on me. I guess I'll have to come through. I would be interested in fencing Alan, as he is a lovely classical fencer.
I can't remember if I beat you or not the last time we fenced Epee. Even if I did, it was a long time ago, and you have been training a lot since then. I'm sure I would have the nerve to go up against a fencer of your magnificent British ranking! |

| grrrrrrrr Now you really are taking the piss! The wonderfull british ranking you speak of doesn't exist any more, and by the end of the season will be about 551!
Still, I might get into the Scottish rankings this year, won't that be worthwhile!

| Get back to work I can see you're as busy as I am.
I wasn't being cheeky about your ranking. Have you fallen away? |

| Sasori is taking a 'sabbatical' from Fencing this year. Are you coming over this Thursday? On another note I see that Sas' is organising a *cough* get together on Sat' - are you coming over for that? |

| Gav, I doubt I'll make it over on Thursday. I have several large flaps of skin hanging off my fingers, so I should rest. However, I will still be able to hold a beer, so I should be at Sasori's on Saturday.
See you then. |
